We are looking for a Permanent Welder with a strong background in the construction industry to join our dynamic team. Our ideal candidate is not just someone who can join metals together. Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Welder, you will play a key role in our construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Reading and interpreting blueprints and sketches to understand project specifications.
2. Using MIG and other welding techniques to join metal parts together.
3. Inspecting and testing welded surfaces to discover flaws and ensure quality.
4. Determining the correct welding equipment or method based on requirements.
5. Setting up and operating welding equipment in accordance with the current job.
6. Maintaining equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
7. Collaborating with the construction team to ensure the project is completed on time and to specification.
8. Conducting preventative maintenance on welding equipment and tools.
9. Working with various metals, including aluminum and steel, and understanding their properties.
10. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in welding, particularly in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in stamping and industrial welding.
3. Extensive knowledge of the steel industry and various metals.
4. Proficiency in MIG welding and other techniques.
5. Experience with industrial automation, motors, and pneumatics.
6. Familiarity with preventative maintenance procedures.
7. Excellent ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
8. Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.
9. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. Good physical condition and endurance to work in challenging environments.
