Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems across servers and workstations.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
Implement and maintain security protocols, including antivirus and firewall configurations.
Perform regular backups and ensure data recovery procedures are in place.
Support end-users via help desk requests and provide technical guidance.
Collaborate with IT and operations teams to ensure seamless system integration.
Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure software compliance.
Develop and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3+ years of experience in Windows system administration.
Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and system security.
Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting.
Hands-on experience with VMware technologies, including:
VMware vSphere and ESXi hypervisors
VMware Cloud (VMCloud) infrastructure
VMware vDirector (vCloud Director) for multi-tenant environments
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.
Industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), CompTIA Server+, or VMware Certified Professional (VCP) preferred.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
