We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Wire EDM Operator to join our growing team in the manufacturing industry. This role is perfect for a skilled professional with a strong background in Esprit or NX programming, reading blueprints, G and M code, machine operation, tooling, machine set up, and Siemens. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining EDM machines and tools with precision and efficiency. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
1. Operate and maintain EDM machines and tools to produce high-quality parts, ensuring compliance with all safety and operational guidelines.
2. Utilize NX programming to design and implement machining processes.
3. Interpret and implement blueprints and technical drawings to accurately manufacture parts and components.
4. Apply knowledge of G and M code to control machine operations effectively.
5. Perform machine set up tasks, including selecting appropriate tools, aligning and securing workpieces, and verifying machine settings.
6. Manage tooling processes, including tool selection, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
7. Utilize Siemens control systems to optimize machine performance and productivity.
8. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and tools, performing necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure optimal performance.
9. Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
10. Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to all company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Wire EDM Operator or in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proficient in NX programming, reading blueprints, G and M code, machine operation, tooling, machine set up, and Siemens.
3. Strong technical skills, including the ability to operate and maintain EDM machines and tools.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
5. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to produce high-quality parts with precision and accuracy.
6. Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
7. Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean workspace.
8. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
