Job Details
As a Wireless Engineer, you’ll provide solutions to the complex problems faced by engineers and scientists designing and building today’s most advanced wireless applications. Working alongside our sales, marketing, and R&D teams, you will be demonstrating products, providing training, developing new features on our test solution, and delivering technical support to our wide-ranging customer base throughout the US.
By functioning as a consultative solutions provider, our Wireless Engineers are often treated as an extension of the customer’s internal technical teams. Your tasks
- Technical consultant for wireless protocol testing supporting customer R&D labs
- Consultant to customers creating test plans and test methods for 4G/5G wireless protocol technologies
- Develop, integrate, and support wireless protocol test cases
- Review 3GPP Protocol Specifications
- Support customers on site, mostly in USA but occasionally in Asia or Europe as per project demands.
- Be a part of global Application Engineering team, actively contribute with ideas on product and process improvements.
Your qualifications
- B.A./B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent educational certificate
- Expert in Python and object-oriented programming
- Extensive experience working with mobile communications protocols – 5G NR, LTE – Physical Layer, Layer 2, RRC, NAS
- Experience in data centric protocols – e.g., TCP/IP, SIP/SDP, RTP, RTCP
- Proven ability to learn new concepts quickly and deliver under pressure
- Experience working with test equipment including radio communications testers, spectrum analyzers and signal generators
- Excellent verbal/written communication and customer interfacing skills
- Domestic and International travel – up to 10-15%
