Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Qualifications Needed:
- Handle a variety of workers' compensation cases based on experience level
- Manage and maintain a caseload
- Appear at hearings, depositions, and trials
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and correspondence
- Network and build relationships with clients and industry professionals
- Collaborate with colleagues and attend firm-wide meetings to enhance professional development
Qualifications Needed:
- Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Licensure: Active membership with the California State Bar
- Experience: Minimum 2-7 years of experience in workers' compensation law (some experience is preferred but not required)
- Proven ability to handle cases independently, manage a caseload, and appear at hearings, depositions, and trials
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Client-focused with excellent communication skills
