Get ready to take your legal career to the next level! We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and highly skilled Workers' Compensation Attorney to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact cases and provide legal counsel to a diverse range of clients. The role requires a deep understanding of Workers' Compensation law, Insurance Defense, and a commitment to providing outstanding client service. Responsibilities

As a Workers' Compensation Attorney, your duties will include:

1. Handling all aspects of workers' compensation cases from the initial client meeting through resolution.
2. Drafting pleadings, findings of fact, motions, briefs, opinions, and other legal documents.
3. Litigating cases before a workers' compensation judge or board of referees.
4. Representing the interests of the employer or insurance carrier at hearings, trials, depositions, oral arguments, mediations, arbitrations, and other proceedings.
5. Communicating regularly with clients, medical providers, the workers' compensation administration, opposing counsel, and the judiciary.
6. Conducting legal research and analysis of law sources such as statutes, legal articles, legal decisions, opinions, rulings, memoranda, and other legal material for case evaluation.
7. Developing strategies and negotiating settlements on behalf of clients.

Qualifications

To qualify for this exciting opportunity, you must meet the following requirements:

1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active license to practice law in the state of South Carolina.
3. 2+ years of experience in workers' compensation law and insurance defense.
4. Proven track record in handling all aspects of workers' compensation cases.
5. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
6. Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically.
7. Ability to handle large caseloads and juggle multiple priorities.
8. Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Commitment to providing high-quality legal representation to our clients.
