We're a well-established legal firm in the heart of New York, seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Workers' Compensation Attorney to join our team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will manage your own caseload, providing expert legal advice and representation to clients who have been injured at work. You will work closely with our team of experienced attorneys and paralegals, as well as directly with clients, insurance companies, and opposing counsel.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal representation for clients with workers' compensation claims.
• Manage and oversee all aspects of a case from inception to resolution.
• Prepare and present cases before the Workers' Compensation Board.
• Conduct legal research and analysis, and draft legal documents.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed and updated on case progress.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, insurance companies, and opposing counsel.
• Stay up to date with changes in workers' compensation law and regulations.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in the State of New York.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Workers' Compensation Attorney.
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to resolve complex issues.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage a high caseload and work under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in the use of legal research tools and software.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.
• A commitment to providing exceptional client service.
