Our firm is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated Workers' Compensation Defense Partner to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to handle complex litigation cases, develop strategies, and lead a team of talented legal professionals. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in workers' compensation defense, a proven track record of success, and a strong desire to bring their expertise to the forefront of our practice. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience and a book of business is necessary.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all aspects of workers' compensation defense litigation, including but not limited to, developing case strategies, conducting discovery, drafting pleadings, and representing clients in court.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with expert advice and guidance on workers' compensation defense matters.
3. Lead and mentor a team of legal professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
4. Maintain a high level of professional conduct and adhere to firm and industry standards.
5. Stay abreast of changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations, ensuring that the firm and its clients are always in compliance.
6. Participate in business development activities, including networking events, seminars, and conferences.
7. Collaborate with other partners to contribute to the firm's overall success and growth.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in workers' compensation defense litigation.
3. Active member in good standing with the Pennsylvania state bar.
4. Demonstrated success in managing complex litigation cases.
5. Strong leadership skills and experience leading a team of legal professionals.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
8. Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
9. Book of business is necessary.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
12. Commitment to maintaining the highest level of professional and ethical standards.
