Job Details

We are seeking a CAD Detailer / CNC Programmer experienced with the Multicam 3000. Must be able to proficiently produce CAD drawings on numerous projects and transfer to Enroute CNC programming.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare CAD drawings based on customer and/or sales specifications; determine scale and perform mathematical calculations
  • Specify material, hardware, electrical/lighting specifications and building techniques in accordance with customer requirements and manufacturing standards
  • Complete software programming for each job to ensure that the exact design is cut to the shape desired
  • Determine scale and perform necessary mathematical calculations
  • Prepare layouts, patterns and/or scaled drawings for construction
  • Read technical drawings and set up the CNC machines (including Multicam 3000) in accordance with the blueprints. (MUST HAVE MULTICAM EXPERIENCE)
  • Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly
  • Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications
  • Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality
  • Consider tools required to cut particular materials and program machines accordingly
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise
  • Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and sharpening
  • Train new employees on how to properly operate CNC machines and programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • 3 plus years of professional AutoCAD experience using recent releases and producing 2D and 3D shop drawings
  • Ability and experience interpreting blueprints and programming/operating Multicam 3000 accordingly
  • Knowledge and understanding of Enroute Software
  • Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
  • Experience in high quality exhibit fabrication, architectural millwork, graphics and cabinetry buildouts
  • Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential
  • Should have a positive and professional attitude
  • Available to work weekends and overtime if needed
  • Capable of standing for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for short periods of time
  • No relocation
