We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Controller for Property Accounting. This role is crucial to our organization, and we are looking for someone who can bring a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and leadership to our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of property accounting, including accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, financial reporting, and much more. Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Controller for Property Accounting, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all property accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
2. Preparing and presenting financial analysis, reports, and budget forecasts.
3. Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
4. Implementing and maintaining effective internal controls to safeguard assets.
5. Managing and mentoring a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
6. Collaborating with senior management to develop strategic financial plans and initiatives.
7. Evaluating and implementing property accounting systems and software to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
8. Participating in the due diligence process for property acquisitions and disposals.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent Controller - Property Accounting position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting, with a strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
3. Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
4. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
6. Proficiency in property accounting software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Strong knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards and regulations.
8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
