We are actively recruiting for a corporate governance paralegal to join our client's growing firm in midtown Manhattan. The position is with a nationally recognized firm that specializes in complex securities litigation and corporate governance matters. The incoming paralegal will function as an integral team member for the department of governance and provide support for ongoing and upcoming cases.

At least 3 years of prior litigation experience and a strong cite-checking and Bluebooking skillset is required for this role. We are seeking individuals who want to work with a dynamic team in a professional collaborative environment with an organization committed to providing a well rounded experience and merit based opportunities for advancement. Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on securities laws and regulations
  • Draft and file legal documents
  • Manage and organize case files and exhibits
  • Conducting heavy cite-checking and Bluebooking responsibilities
  • Coordinating with court clerks, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses
  • Assisting with Delaware Chancery Court filings and procedures

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a focus on securities litigation, corporate law or corporate
governance
  • Strong knowledge of securities laws and regulations
  • Experience with Bluebook citation formatting and cite checking
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • A strong attention to detail and accuracy
