We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Data Analyst to join our team remotely.
This exciting opportunity is for a highly regarded outpatient healthcare organziation located in NYC.
You will be responsible for interpreting data and turning it into information that can offer ways to improve our business, thus affecting business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of databases, data analysis procedures, and will have the ability to use statistical tools to interpret data sets.
Responsibilities:
1. Collecting and interpreting data from multiple sources.
2. Analyzing results using statistical techniques and providing ongoing reports.
3. Developing and implementing databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
4. Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases.
5. Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets.
6. Working alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs.
7. Defining new data collection and analysis processes.
8. Ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
9. Collaborating with IT teams and data scientists to develop new data gathering and data analysis processes.
10. Designing, creating and maintaining relational databases and related reporting systems.
Qualifications:
1. Relevant experience in business, health care, consulting, insurance, government, or related industry is preferred - having a medical coder background is great but not required!
2. SQL, Python, and clinical data exp needed
3. Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets.
4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
7. Experience in data models and reporting packages.
8. Ability to analyze large datasets.
9. Ability to write comprehensive reports.
10. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
11. An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving.
12. Attention to detail.
