Job Details

Must have worked for the PCAOB in the past.
Full-time, exempt Director role available, offering remote work across the U.S.
Lead as Director of Audit Advisory Services, leveraging expertise in public company auditing and regulation.
Consult with firm clients on PCAOB compliance and continuous audit quality enhancement.
Strengthen client compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act, PCAOB rules, SEC standards, and professional norms.
Support clients through PCAOB regulatory processes, including inspection, remediation, and enforcement.
Assess audit quality through regulator reports, internal audits, and engagement team work papers.
Evaluate client quality control structures' impact on audit quality.
Advise on changes to enhance quality control and PCAOB compliance.
Prepare detailed, accurate oral and written reports for client management.
Provide expertise on technical accounting and auditing matters, including independence.
Develop training courses on accounting, auditing, and PCAOB compliance.
Engage in business development, marketing, and thought leadership efforts.
Requirements: Current CPA license; 2+ years in PCAOB inspections; 6+ years in U.S. public company auditing.
Bachelor's degree in related field; MBA/Master's is a plus.
Proficiency in PCAOB standards; Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS desired.
Advanced MS Office skills for high-quality client deliverables.
Some domestic travel required; fluency in a foreign language is advantageous.
Effective oral and written communication skills for client interactions.
Collaborative, independent, and adaptable mindset for team and solo work.
Continuous learning attitude; ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
