Employee will work directly with executive team and investment banking partners to source, develop and service institutional Investors / Limited Partners for growing number of closed-end Fund and SMA verticals. This role serves as a key resource and strategic contributor to the overall organization and reports to the Chief Executive Officer.

Job Details

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Investor / Client Management
  • Manage existing and potential investor relationships through CRM database and Fund Administrator
  • Control and optimize client acquisition pipeline of capital and project manage due diligence timelines
  • Oversee all investor communications including welcome emails, monthly touch pieces, quarterly memos, capital call notices and distribution memos
  • Organization of quarterly and annual investor meetings, including logistics and production of related marketing materials
  • Develop client-relations and on-boarding programs for increased LP participation

2. Fundraising / Capital Formation
  • Organize road show outreach, logistics and planning for investor meetings
  • Send follow up materials to all new client/LP cold and warm calls that company/executive team sources on a weekly basis
  • Determine plans for company presence at conventions, industry events and seminars
  • Attend conferences and networking events to create new relationships for company and build strong company presence in the industry
  • Establish and maintain relationship with industry capital raisers, key strategic partners, existing and future LP clients
  • Develop and execute marketing / client acquisition campaigns, PR initiatives and touch-points with the Marketing Team as part of Fundraising Plan for Fund III (next fund)
  • Lead LP meetings and conference calls by effectively communicating company vision, investment strategy and firm updates to new LP contacts; serve as the liaison between LP community and Company

3. Investor Portal / CRM Development
  • Track the pipeline of capital and project manage due diligence timelines through CRM system
  • Increase functionality of CRM Database and integrate company applications and platforms
  • Implement new Investor Portal with increased user interface and reporting metrics
  • Develop client-specific campaigns and initiatives through CRM analytics

4. Marketing Materials for Investor and Capital Raise Efforts
  • Maintain / Manage formation marketing materials with marketing team - PPM, Subscription Docs, GP / LP Questioners, Due DilIgence docs, etc
  • Maintain / Manage marketing materials with marketing team for education and soliciting of new LP’s - Investor Deck, Company Overview, Teasers, Segment Focus Papers, White Papers, monthly touch points, etc

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of 8+ years of investor relations experience, preferably in real estate industry
  • Bachelor of Science in Business, Marketing or related field
  • A deep understanding of commercial real estate terms and investment principles
  • Polished and professional written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Motivated and results-driven with strong work ethic
  • Resourceful
  • Entrepreneurial, with client-minded focus
