Job Details

This is a high-impact role that puts you right in the middle of patent prosecution, filing, and maintenance. You’ll be the go-to person for tracking deadlines, managing filings, and making sure the firm’s clients have the best possible IP protection.

📌 Prepare and file U.S. and foreign patent applications
📌 Maintain docketing deadlines for renewals, oppositions, and annuities
📌 Draft assignments, legal agreements, and patent filings
📌 Conduct research on patent rights, databases, and international compliance
📌 Liaise with foreign associates to ensure smooth international filings

What You Need to Bring:
✔ 2+ years of patent experience (law firm experience preferred)
✔ Strong working knowledge of USPTO, PCT filings, and international patent law
✔ Excellent organizational skills—this is a fast-moving environment
✔ Familiarity with Innovation, PATTSY, Lexis/Nexis, and legal research tools
✔ The ability to handle multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
