Job Details

As an IP Patent Paralegal/Specialist, you’ll be a key part of the patent prosecution and maintenance process. You’ll be handling everything from filing patents to managing deadlines, making sure attorneys and clients stay on top of their game.

📌 Coordinate U.S. and foreign patent filings with the USPTO and international law offices
📌 Maintain and manage docketing systems for upcoming deadlines, renewals, and required filings
📌 Prepare and file patent assignments, legal agreements, and other essential documents
📌 Track case statuses, ensuring compliance with national and international patent laws
📌 Conduct research on IP laws, patent rights, and industry databases

What You Need to Bring:
✔ 2+ years of patent experience (law firm experience preferred)
✔ Strong working knowledge of USPTO, PCT filings, and foreign patent prosecution
✔ Familiarity with Innovation, PATTSY, Lexis/Nexis, and other docketing tools
✔ Meticulous attention to detail—this work is all about deadlines and accuracy
✔ The ability to handle multiple projects at once without breaking a sweat
