Job Details

This position will include troubleshooting end user issues and working within a structured problem management and resolution process to remediate those issues and involves working with other resources and vendors to deliver effective support services. Responsibilities include identifying, documenting and troubleshooting user computing issues to resolution and maintaining client satisfaction.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Manage, maintain, troubleshoot and support our clients’ networks, IT hardware, software, and services.
Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues for our clients’ users.
Provide efficient problem resolution remotely or onsite at client locations.
Consult with clients, working to meet all their technology-related business needs.
Lead projects from design to deployment.
Accurately document daily tasks.
Provide exceptional customer service through communication, documentation, and building relationships.
Take part in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
Required qualifications for this position:

Minimum five years of Network/System Administration or equivalent experience.
The following types of certification or equivalent experience: A+, Network+, Security+, MCSA/MCITP, CCNA.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft software and technologies, including: desktop & server OSes, Exchange, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, IIS, SQL.
Strong knowledge of networking technologies and concepts, including: TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, VLANs, switching, routing, UTM.
Familiarity with security hardening, as well as, backup and disaster recovery systems and techniques.
Experience deploying or administering enterprise virtualization products, such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V.
Must be well spoken, outgoing, organized, detail orientated, dependable and flexible.
Possess a love for problem solving and troubleshooting issues.
Able to multitask and prioritize conflicting works tasks.
Enjoy learning and building professional knowledge on a continual basis.
Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally both written and orally in a business environment, including describing technical solutions in a user-friendly manner.
Commitment to providing exceptional customer service at all times.
Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time in front of a computer.
Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking.
Must have access to a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance.
Preferred qualifications for this position:

Previous consulting experience is helpful.
Familiarity with Dell and HP enterprise hardware lines.
Previous experience with PSA and RMM solutions would also be beneficial.
