Job Details
Responsible for overseeing operation of the Gas Plant Facility comprised of an Amine Unit, Condensate Stabilization, Cryogenic Gas Processing and Residue Recompression. The Gas Plant is a PSM facility and processes gas containing H2S. The primary responsibilities include ensuring safe, reliable operation of the facility while complying with the air permit (NMED) and implementing the PSM program (OSHA). This includes preparing, and maintaining written operations and maintenance records, direct supervision of the plant operations personnel. This role will be the primary person interacting with field operations (gas gathering & compression), construction, engineering, accounting/finance, regulatory and senior management on all gas pipeline and plant issues. Will be responsible for the plant operations budget, commissioning new plant projects and assistance with capital expansions.
Qualifications:
- Ensure reliable and safe operation of gas plant including compliance w/ all PHMSA, DOT, OSHA/PSM, NMED and other federal and state requirements. This position will have primary responsibility for the plant PSM program.
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of plant and ensure full operations team is aligned in their goals.
- Responsible for plant expenses, runtime, recoveries and meeting gas balancing and FL&U goals.
- Provide detailed input on pipeline and plant system functions to direct supervisor, engineers, and other personnel.
- Provide input on capital projects and engineering design including PHAs to ensure safe and reliable integration of new equipment and directly manage the commissioning of that equipment.
- Manage plant operators to ensure compression, dehydration, gathering, and plants function properly.
- Provide training to plant operators (and document per company requirements) to ensure staff is fully proficient in job duties.
Qualifications:
- Experience w/ compression (reciprocating and screw), cryo plants, refrigeration systems, stabilizers, LP/HP gas gathering systems and TEG dehydration systems.
- Strong direct experience in natural gas
- Strong leadership and communication skills are essential
- Ability to manage and review operating and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, regulators, and consultants.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Must possess a valid driver's license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle. The company provides a vehicle and the necessary equipment to perform the functions required for this position.
