Job Details

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design in detail for manufacturing for new products
  • Responsible for product documentation including bills of material, specifications, component part drawings, and assembly drawings.
  • Implements Lean Manufacturing to reduce manufacturing costs through product design improvements, alternating materials, or new techniques.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and outside vendors to quickly bring innovative, manufacturing-friendly products to market.
  • Provide manufacturing support to troubleshoot discrepancies with specifications, part drawings, bill of materials, etc.
  • Meet aggressive project timelines and resolve project issues.

MUST HAVE, experience with majority of the following:
  • 3D Design experience in Inventor or Solidworks. (Inventor preferred)
  • Strong ERP/MRP experience (JDE Preferred)
  • Team work oriented and ability to work with cross functional teams
  • BS Engineering with emphasis in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing.
