We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Permanent Project Controller to join our team in the Construction industry. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated professional with a strong background in project control and an understanding of the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our construction projects, ensuring budget adherence, financial reporting, and implementing cost control measures. Experience with Sage 300, Timberline, Lien waivers, loans, loan draws, construction draws, and AIA Invoicing is essential.

Responsibilities:

The Project Controller will be responsible for a variety of tasks including but not limited to:

1. Managing all financial aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
2. Implementing and maintaining project control procedures and policies.
3. Ensuring project expenditures are in line with the budget and identifying any potential financial risks.
4. Preparing and presenting financial reports for stakeholders, including project cost reports and forecasts.
5. Processing loan draws, construction draws, and lien waivers.
6. Managing AIA invoicing and other project-related billings.
7. Collaborating with project managers and other team members to ensure project financials are accurately represented and understood.
8. Utilizing Sage 300 and Timberline for project financial management and reporting.
9. Continuously improving project control processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project control, preferably within the construction industry.
3. Proficient with Sage 300, Timberline, and AIA Invoicing.
4. Experience with lien waivers, loans, and construction draws.
5. Strong understanding of construction project management and financial principles.
6. Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
8. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team to achieve project objectives.
9. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and meeting deadlines.
