RN/Registered Nurse - Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS)
The RN Clinical Documentation Specialist will play a pivotal role in providing secondary case review and ensure accurate and thorough clinical documentation. The Clinical Documentation Specialist will direclty enhance patient outcomes through quality-focused reviews.

The RN Clinical Documentation Specialist will play a pivotal role in providing secondary case review and ensure accurate and thorough clinical documentation. The Clinical Documentation Specialist will direclty enhance patient outcomes through quality-focused reviews.
Qualifications:
- BSN Degree Required
- Must have 3 or more years RN experience in a hospital setting
- Prefer 3 or more years experience working with inpatient clinical documentation, mortality, PSI, HAC, or other quality-focused reviews required
- Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) - OR - Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP) required
- Coding Certification (CCS, CIC, CPC) preferred
- Experience with ICD-10-CM/PCS, APR DRG, and MS DRG required
- Strong critical thinking & attention to detail
- Active TX RN license or ability to gain state licensure
