Job Details
- CPA is preferred
- Perform Month End Close functions end to end including but not limited to; preparation of journal entries, review journal entries of junior accountants, reconciling general ledger and balance sheet accounts, and account variance analytics
- Understand the daily activities of the department and aid in coordinating and managing the period-end close process to ensure deadlines are met
- Document internal controls and processes for accurate and timely financial reporting and make recommendations on improvements
- Analyze financial statement information and independently explain and resolve variances
- Accounts Payable/Receivable
- Lead efforts to automate processes by developing a deep understanding of source data and end user needs
