We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team as a Permanent Senior Accountant in the hospitality and private club Industry. Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in our financial operations, including:

1. Performing full cycle accounting duties, including managing month-end and year-end close processes.
2. Preparing and posting journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
3. Conducting financial reporting, providing insights into financial performance, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements.
4. Preparing monthly sales tax returns and ensuring all tax obligations are met promptly.
5. Reconciling benefits statements and maintaining accurate records of employee benefits.
6. Filing quarterly and annual payroll reports, ensuring all payroll obligations are met and records are updated.
7. Collaborating with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
8. Using Microsoft Office Suite to prepare reports, analyze data, and present findings.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of three years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the medical industry.
3. Proficiency in full cycle accounting processes, including month-end and year-end close.
4. A strong understanding of GAAP and experience in financial reporting.
5. Demonstrated experience in preparing journal entries and sales tax returns.
6. Experience in reconciling benefits statements and filing payroll reports.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
8. Excellent analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
9. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
