We are looking for a top-notch Senior Controller to join our dynamic finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, cutting-edge, and progressive environment. You will play a pivotal role in driving our financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. This role requires a deep understanding of financial reporting, financial modeling, accounting, and budgeting. A strong background in SaaS, fintech industry, and GAAP is essential. You will be responsible for establishing and overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and more.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead all aspects of financial reporting, financial modeling, budgeting, and accounting.
2. Ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable regulatory standards.
3. Establish and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and more.
4. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
5. Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
6. Manage the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders, tax returns, and reports for government regulatory agencies.
7. Work with senior management to develop short, medium, and long-term financial plans and projections.
8. Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs, strategies, and regulatory actions.
9. Collaborate with other department leaders to assess company performance against both the annual budget and company’s long-term strategy.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. An MBA or CPA is preferred.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a preference given to those with experience in the SaaS or fintech industry.
3. Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
4. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP).
5. Exceptional knowledge of financial data analysis and forecasting.
6. Strong understanding of GAAP and other financial regulations.
7. Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
8. Ability to strategize and solve problems.
9. Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
10. Strong communication and people skills.
