We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-experienced Senior Property Accountant with a focus on CAM Recs to join our growing team. Responsibilities:
As a Senior Property Accountant - CAM Recs, you will play a crucial role in the financial management of our property portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing the accounts of our extensive property portfolio, ensuring all financial records are maintained accurately and efficiently.
2. Performing CAM reconciliations and providing detailed reports on the same.
3. Coordinating with property managers and the lease administration team to ensure accurate and timely billing.
4. Reviewing and analyzing property budgets and forecasts.
5. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
6. Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
7. Assisting in the development of financial strategies and long-term business plans.
8. Collaborating with the finance team on the preparation of tax returns, ensuring accurate reporting of property assets.
9. Providing expert financial advice to senior management to aid strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Property Accountant - CAM Recs position must meet the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting, with a focus on CAM recs.
3. Demonstrated expertise in CAM reconciliations and property budgeting.
4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
5. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
6. Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
9. CPA or equivalent professional certification will be an added advantage.
