What You'll Be Doing...
  • Develop and maintain an extensive knowledge of Rockwell Software, including Automation, Visualization, Information, and Analytics Software.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of IIOT and the Connected Enterprise and leverage your ability to articulate and discuss its architecture, impact, and value with customers and associates.
  • Assist our sales staff in the specification, support, and sale of Software, Automation, and IIOT solutions.
  • Plan, organize, and schedule calls with current and prospective customers.
  • Provide customers with Software application support and assist them in their Digital Transformation journeys.
  • Leverage technical support opportunities to engage in proactive consultative selling.
  • Introduce, demonstrate, and specify new products and solutions to customer’s Purchasing, Maintenance, Operations, Engineering Departments and Management.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with our key partners to ensure awareness of new products, solutions, tools and procedures.
  • Help to create the team's Business Plan and participate in quarterly Target Account Planning sessions.
  • Create and conduct customer commercial plan initiatives and training events.
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with our local Partner Ecosphere. Assist with the recommendation and evaluation of appropriate partners when engaging in projects.
  • Follow-up on all major customer projects by staying in contact with the customer and tracking progress through our Insight CRM.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our products and participate in training sessions
  • Develop and conduct software training for appropriate sales and technical staff in the Division.
  • Provide customers and associates with appropriate technical literature.

What We're Looking For...
  • 5+ years of Sales Engineering experience
  • Strong experience with Rockwell software
  • Strong experience with Industrial Automation and Automation software
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to sell at a high-level to executives/C-Suite
