Scope of Responsibilities:
Preferred Qualifications:
- Development of advanced cloud services for large scale IoT platforms, AI, and real time telematics solutions.
- Design and maintain web application front and backends, using a variety of web technologies.
- Support the integration of new cloud platforms and technologies through acquisition and aggressive organic growth.
- Collaborate with firmware/hardware teams to design new system-wide features and solutions.
- Support end-users for high-priority issues.
- Document development plans, processes, and overall applications from a technical perspective.
- Support customer Proof-of-Concept and other technical discussions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expert level knowledge of cloud IaaS architecture and API development for IoT cloud PaaS and SaaS systems.
- Experience in developing real-time data or telematics services on Serverless Application Model (AWS Lambda) and/or container orchestration environments (e.g. AWS ECS).
- Infrastructure as a code development (AWS CloudFormation, CDK).
- Design intuitive, well-modeled API endpoints for both internal and user-facing consumption that conform to RESTful concepts. Use OpenAPI specification to document these endpoints. Use Postman for testing APIs.
- Developing backend services using AWS SDKs in TypeScript, AWS RDS (MySQL, Postgres DB)
- Experience with AWS Services including: API Gateway, Iot Core, Cognito, Lambda, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, S3, Elemental MediaConvert, Kinesis/Kinesis Video Streams, OpenSearch, Glue, SQS, SNS.
- Understand messaging protocols such as MQTT or AMQP and be comfortable using third-party message brokers (e.g., Mosquitto, RabbitMQ)
