We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our growing team! As a member of the SLP crew, you will be working with senior citizens at several local residency based facilities.

We consider 30 hours to be full time, but you have the option to work more if you'd like!

We are comprised of an amazing care team that includes Physical Therapists, Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists, and of course SLPs!

Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify their speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
2. Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs.
3. Implement treatment plans and monitor patients' progress.
4. Educate patients and their families about various speech disorders and how to cope with them.
5. Provide training and education to family/caregivers and other professionals.
6. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient therapy and progress.
8. Attend and contribute to professional meetings, conferences, and workshops to stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements.

Qualifications:
1. A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
2. Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
3. A minimum of 1 year of professional experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist (will consider new grads).
4. Strong knowledge of speech-related disorders and treatments.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
7. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
8. Proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
9. Commitment to ethical practices, confidentiality, and patient privacy.
10. The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
11. Certification in Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is a plus.
