The Design Engineer is responsible for performing calculations and detailed designs of various pipeline and natural gas compressor products.

7. The salary range for this role is between $110k - $120k/year. Please confirm this is a salary range you would accept an offer at.
8. This position will be primarily remote, with occasional visits to the office in Houston. Please confirm you are okay with this.

10. Do you have your Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar?
- Prepare documents and drawings for customer approval, estimating, and manufacturing.
- Perform calculations to ensure proper equipment design, maximizing safety and reliability.
- Review incoming customer RFQ and ensure its accuracy for all technical items.
- Formulate and conduct test plans for new and existing products.
- Write technical documentation to support customers and internal stakeholders.
- Work with manufacturing to ensure product quality and identify areas for manufacturability improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience is required
- Prior experience designing natural gas compression systems
- Competent with Autodesk Inventor
- Understanding of common setup for natural gas compression systems, natural gas processing, and pipeline systems
- Working knowledge of B31.4/8 and ASME BPVC.
- The ability to code in VBA is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and passport
