The CAS Leader is a management team member and is responsible for developing and maintaining firmwide outsourced accounting procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements for clients. The Leader will in some cases function as an outsourced Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This practice leader is accountable for supervising staff who assist with the accounting operations of the client, to include but not be limited to the closing process (month/quarter/year), production of financial reports, maintenance of of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and budgeting. This practice leader oversees a team of professionals to ensure the timeliness, accuracy, and integrity of accounting and financial reporting.

Job Details

Requirements:
  • Must have experience working for a Public Accounting Firm.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • 8+ years of Chief Financial Officer experience.
  • An understanding of accrual basis accounting, accounting systems, and a proficient knowledge of GAAP.
  • Prior success expanding and developing a practice including networking and relationship management and process improvement.
  • The ideal candidate has the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines and is responsible for managing and overseeing all accounting and financial reporting activities in the CAS division.
  • Intermediate+ level Excel experience.
  • Experience designing technology solutions in accounting areas.
