Tyler Park

My name is Tyler Park and I'm a Philadelphia-based Headhunter with the A.I. supported Recruitment firm Jobot. I have 7+ years of full desk agency experience focused predominantly on Finance.

I am from the Phoenixville/Malvern area outside Philly and graduated in 2011 from University of Delaware with a Finance degree on paper and a FIFA skillset in practice. I never really used the Finance degree though, always working in Sales instead.

Upon graduation I continued to sell Cutco (my summer job at end of college, which coming from roofing/framing provided me a very high income opp that gave me the Sales bug early) at a high level, and ended up breaking the all-time annual Cutco sales record ($393,000+) in 2012, an accomplishment I'm very proud of. By learning from the best of the best people, I became an expert on networking BIG $$$$$ areas, built up a $1,000+ sized average order per demo (over 4x the company avg), and operated a high level residential B2C sales operation, building a book of Mrs. Jones's from scratch.

I left Cutco in 2015 to join a publicly-traded English Recruitment firm I thought (+ think) highly of called Michael Page, where I worked for 7 years and learned to build a new type of book from scratch in a B2B sales job. I became a Senior Manager in our Philadelphia Finance practice, and learned proper UK-style full desk recruitment. I learned about good clients and bad clients, great candidates and the occasional flake, and about great colleagues. Ultimately I learned to make money from scratch by adding value, and I knew it was the industry in which I would spend the rest of my career.

In August 2022, I left MPI and joined Jobot, an LA-based recruitment start-up quickly turned large can't miss player in the domestic perm fee recruitment market. Most folks at Jobot come here from impressive tenured headhunting careers in other firms, and the caliber of knowledge sharing and creativity is A1. My approach to BizDev changed massively as I leverage the world's best tech stack; pursuing all of the work I'd like to take on anywhere in the US, in any discipline. I'm fired up to have joined a firm that unleashes its people in an uncapped way w/ the world's best tech +ALMOST NO meetings! I am fired up about and looking fwd to my biggest billing year ever in 2023 (goal of $600k).
