Job Details:

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Controller to lead our finance department. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in a hands-on leadership role. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the manufacturing industry, with extensive experience in accounting, budgeting, management accounting, financial reporting, and financial modeling.

The role will be working hand-on performing the work as well as leading the team. Aside from accounting the Controller will oversee the Human Resources function as it relates to payroll and benefit management, as well as IT. This role requires a deep understanding of the General Ledger, the ability to produce accurate financial statements, and advanced Excel skills. A minimum of 10 years' experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations of the company, including budgeting, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
• Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the company's goals.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other financial reporting standards.
• Provide financial modeling and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with other department heads to streamline operations and improve financial performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Extensive experience in accounting, budgeting, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel.
• Solid GAAP and financial reporting technical skills.
• Proven experience in a hands-on leadership role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
