Responsibilities:

• Review project drawings and specifications to determine the scope of work and required materials
• Analyze project plans and specifications to accurately estimate project costs, including material and labor costs
• Develop and maintain a cost database of labor, materials, and equipment
• Conduct on-site visits to review site conditions and evaluate potential issues that may impact project costs
• Collaborate with the project management team to develop bid strategies and ensure project goals and timelines are met
• Prepare and submit timely and accurate bids and proposals to clients
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits with clients and project stakeholders
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of materials and services
• Analyze and negotiate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitive pricing and quality work
• Continuously monitor project costs and provide regular cost updates to the project management team
• Participate in project kickoff meetings to ensure a smooth transition from the estimating phase to the construction phase
