Senior Business Litigation Attorney

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in various areas of law, including litigation, trial practice, IP law, copyright law, and entertainment law. Responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal advice and support across a wide range of business litigation matters, including intellectual property, copyright, and entertainment law.
• Manage all phases of the litigation process from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
• Develop and implement effective litigation strategies to achieve successful outcomes for our clients.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.
• Represent the company in court hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and manage legal risks.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current laws, regulations, and industry trends that impact the company and our clients.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions on various business-related matters.
• Mentor and guide junior attorneys and legal staff.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in business litigation, with a focus on trial practice, IP law, copyright law, and entertainment law.
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
• Proven track record of managing complex litigation cases from inception to conclusion.
• Exceptional negotiation, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and court officials.
• High ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel as needed for court appearances, depositions, and client meetings.
