Senior Litigation Attorney

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. You will primarily involve handling labor litigation and product liability cases. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing complex litigation matters, developing litigation strategies, and providing legal advice to our clients. Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of litigation including depositions, pleadings, discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal processes.
• Handle labor litigation cases including employment discrimination, wage and hour disputes, and workplace safety issues.
• Handle product liability cases including defective product claims, failure to warn claims, and design defect claims.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies to effectively represent clients in court and achieve desired outcomes.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals to prepare for trials and hearings.
• Provide legal advice to clients concerning their rights, obligations, and legal matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
• Draft and review legal documents including contracts, agreements, and pleadings.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in an effort to resolve disputes without proceeding to trial.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, legal trends, and industry regulations relevant to labor litigation and product liability.
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations to maintain ethical and professional standards.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 10+ years of experience as a Litigation Attorney, specifically in labor litigation and product liability.
• Admission to the state bar and good standing.
• Proven track record of managing complex litigation matters and achieving successful outcomes.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop effective litigation strategies.
• Proficiency in legal research and analysis, with a thorough understanding of labor laws and product liability laws.
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
