Job Details

Schedule: Monday-Friday in Office during tax season (January 2nd to April 15th). Hybrid (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday in office, Tuesday and Friday home).

Dress Code: Business casual / smart casual

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Processor/Administrative Assistant to join our boutique/family-owned tax consultancy agency based in Philadelphia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team, ensuring the smooth processing of tax returns, and assisting with various administrative tasks/projects as needed.

Job Duties:

  • Print and email tax returns to clients, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Utilize RightSignature to send signature forms to clients for electronic signatures.
  • Schedule appointments for clients and manage the calendar efficiently.
  • Respond to emails promptly and professionally, maintaining clear communication with clients and team members.
  • Scan and organize documents accurately, maintaining an organized filing system.
  • Answer phone calls and address inquiries or direct them to the appropriate team member.
  • Assist with additional administrative tasks and special projects as requested by management.
  • Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working for a tax/CPA firm is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with tax software such as Pro Series, Citrix / RightSignature, Rever / E-File Cabinet is preferred but not required.
